Power Shutoff Readiness Workshop for Windsor Residents
The Town of Windsor invites its residents to a workshop with the goal of helping them to develop effective power outage preparedness and mitigation plans. A power shutoff can occur because of extreme weather and high fire danger conditions, natural disasters, storms, earthquakes or other unforeseen events including PG&E's Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) program.

Nancy Brown
PhD, Emergency Management
Dr. Nancy Brown is the new Community Preparedness Program Manager for the Sonoma County Department of Emergency Management. Her experience includes developing best practices and training programs while working as the Emergency Preparedness Coordinator for The Hotels at the Disneyland Resort®. She also helped develop and write the National Disaster Response Framework for Indonesia. Her long-term objectives include continued development of pragmatic ways to build disaster resilience that engage communities and businesses.
